CTX3030 Question - Testing on small gold items ?

As the ctx has been out a few months now has any users tested it on small gold yet, like fine rings and small gold hammy's etc.

Air tests on sub 1 gram gold it works.

I dont know about gold but I found a 1935 sixpence today with my EXPL 2 and my mate(using ctx 3030) buried it trying to get a signal to no avail
My 13" ultimate did pick it up from the same depth
Is there any way to set up the CTX to be more responsive to high conductors

I believe there is.

Its all in the settings and target ground separation.

Gold should give a FE 12 value and the CO depending on the size of gold.

Playing with the settings for soil type and sensitivity should produce good results.

So just reading through some old posts.... and saw this..

So am I right when I read it like this - the lower the CO number the smaller the item? And the larger the CO number the larger the item?

so would that be like for example CO 5 could be a 5p piece and CO 45 a £5 coin?
