Ah but a few coins are always welcome. ::g Bit of an odd place to find a crabbing line though. Can't imagine many of those being caught from a beach. Was on south milton sands (Thurlestone, Devon) yesterday and was told a few other md'ers had been on the beach the day before and cleaned up, with a few gold and diamond rings. I managed only decimal but £9.30 isn't too bad for a few hours. :))

Very windy today though so I guess that will change the beaches, just not sure which way its blowing in from. Knowing my luck it's just depositing more sand. ;;z
Current setup:

Is that a posh doggie tag?
Had a sort out of my 'junk' box and I'm surprised by the number of tags I've found...nearly always come back with one or two :))

If you have a onshore wind usually the sand will come off. A off shore wind will build the sand up and you have long-shore drift as well that moves the beach along here where i live in Devon there is no long-shore drift but on the south coast there is that's why there are groins on the beaches to stop the beach from moving these a good coin traps.Beach searching is a lot more hard than people think but when you suss your beach out it will give you the goodies good luck ::g
