DEUS BARGAIN EMERGENCY CHARGER

Post by chessman »

Get in quick with this one fellas.
Sainsburys petrol stations - Emergency phone chargers with fittings including the one for the Deus coil. £3.99 each, comes with an alkaline battery and doubles as torch.
Detecting shops are punting out the Deus charger for 14 quid.
Solid piece of kit, and it'll charge your phone to boot. If anyone has the 'shop' model I'd be interested to know if the specs are the same...
Single rate voltage: 3.2v
Input power: 1.5v
Output power: 5.6A
Current: 350MA (max)

Just plug into to connector peg and you're away. (I assume this would charge any of the 3 components) ::g
At £3.99 it's a snip.

For the record I have since tested the charger and it does indeed charge all three components of the Deus kit. :)

Thanks for the heads-up, but I have made a vow never EVER to buy any more electrical/electronic items from China on Ebay... Have not had one single good experience ;;z all looks great on the outside but that's the gig... the innards last all of a week and you cant return it. Can you imagine the manufacturing quality once they take the postage cost out of the £1.38. Good luck with that one ;) I'd rather the Sainsburys reciept and 1yr warranty.

Thanks for the tip. I'd imagine they all come from China anyway, no matter where you buy them from. Maybe even the same factory. :D
