Happy ending.

Had a bit of good publicity for us all recently. Worthing herald october 4th 2012. Cant seem to attach web archive but reads. LOST RING FOUND ON BEACH BY STRANGER. A man who lost his wedding ring in the sea said it was like a blessing when a metal detectorist returned it to him in mint condition. The couple said they had been trying to forget a "terrible couple of weeks" when they visited the beach together. The man said he had gone for a swim, but when he returned the ring was no longer on his finger, prompting them to "comb the beach" to find the lost ring but to no avail. But it was a chance conversation with metal detectorist that changed the pairs fortunes. Colin was unable to find the ring but took a number and promised to call if he found anything. A month passed, when i received that call from Colin, out of the blue, saying that a ring matching their description had been found. Upon seeing it he realised immediately it was the right one, prompting his wife to burst into tears of happiness. He said " I was shocked, surprised, and had unbelievable gratitude that someone would go to all that effort to go above and beyond. We felt almost blessed. Its nice to actually get one back to its rightful owner! ::g ::g ::g

Thanks all. Its very difficult down here to get any good permissions so all good publicity will maybe give us more of a chance to get some. Nighthawkers have helped to tarnish our reputation in this area. Twenty seven rings this year and three returned to owners. Hopefully helping to regain any trust most of us deserve. Happy hunting.
