Weymouth this weekend

I'm going to be in Weymouth this weekend (Sunday and Monday) :))

Anyone tried any of the beaches around there and care to share any info or fancy a few hours detecting on them :-/

Hi, you may have a bit of a problem as there is motocross on Weymouth beach this weekend, you could try Bowlease Cove most other beaches around here are shingle and bloody hard work! :(

Thanks for the heads up Steve ::g I'm on a club dig at Corfe Saturday/Sunday so was thinking Monday for the beach :-/

Was also considering West Bay or Burton Bradstock?

Good point ::g They've certainly shifted a few tons about :)) Could def be worth ago Monday when everyones cleared off ;)

Probably more likely to find one on the beach than Corfe if the Minelab boys and girls haven't left anything behind :-O :(

I went down on the Sunday morning Tim but it was so waterlogged i just came home . ;;z :(

Hi Tim
I did Weymouth just after last years Motocross, loads of finds. Nuts, bolts, springs, levers, ringpulls, bent bits of wire that looked as if they ought to be holding important things together. I'll tell you, it made me wonder how this bikes ever got round the course with all these bits falling off.
Might do this year, just to see if I can get enough bits to build my own Kawasaki then I can take part! :))
