First outing. Hunstanton

Post by John and Dawn »

Hi all
Dawn and myself had our first outing with the sovereign GT on Saturday.
Drove to Hunstanton on the North Norfolk coast.
This was really a test day and finds were few.
The beach was quite gravelly and where to start?
We found a couple of decimal coins and a few odds and sods.
The detector proved to be very sensitive and picked up some small metal fragments at
amazing depths. It will be a great machine once mastered.

Not much of a report, but we had a great day in the fresh air with the weather clear and sunny.
Will try Mablethorpe this coming weekend.....definitely hooked.
thanks to all for the advice and encouragement.

Best regards
John and Dawn
