sunny but cold, managed £3.85, 2 dog tags, 1 tin snowman and a childs ring plus the usual dross

the ring is stamped SG (within a circle) and -5 beside that, the ring is not valuable but if anyone knows what that stamp is could they let me know :D

That ring certainly looks silver plated from here. ::g If it's about 17mm inside diameter then the -5 could be a US ring size.
Current setup:
XP Deus v2.0, MINELAB Equinox 800 v1.7.5, GARRETT Pro-Pointer
MD'ing since Sept '11

thanks for the info, i used a tape measure, i know its not exact but its between 15/16mm inside, most of the plate is gone leaving a copper base metal, it looks like a marble effect inlay surrounding the entire ring, it must have been quite nice when new :D ::g

It's probably a 'mood' ring...they're supposed to change colour, but when they've been in the sea for a while they don't seem to work....the one's I've found do only if you run them under the hot tap :))
Here's another with the same mark but no idea what it means...probably a far east manufacturer ::g
