talacre beach + ainsdale yesterday

they say where theres muck theres money well
my mate was detecting the dry sand only to find a penny planted in dog muck
buried a few inches down sorry i no its bad but all i could do was laugh
went on ainsdale beach yesterday had about 14 coins all grubby
was mainly 1ps highest coin i got was a portugal 2003 euro and a 10p total about 25p
other items found
tent pegs lost count
nuts bolts nails
broken penknife
coal
bottle tops
wire and other metals
ring pulls

learnt him though always wear gloves and use a scoop
and not to tell me if out like that happens cause all i can do is laugh
never no whats in the sand

Thanks for the heads up; we often detect on Talacre beach but have never come across this one!
