Nah then,

Today was my first ever trip on the humber right under the bridge ::g . Where i met Bainsey, ::g getting some tips on this n that. ::g ....so off i went doing my own thing ;;z ....with a lot of crap signals here n there ;;z , it was hard work it was`nt how i`d thought it would be :( , loads of stone quite tricky in places and ya have to watch yer footing as well as the tide :) ..after speaking to BamBam on the forum last night he advised me to get some wellies which i did £12 + £2. for some welly socks and £20 juice in the car ;;z ...........today i found 17p :(( ........oh well you cant win em all, better luck next time.......bainsey seemed to be doing ok though.....practice makes perfect... :) ..

Like Andy said if you keep at it on the foreshore you will be rewarded. Try different spots. But most importantly get to know your machine on there. You will get lots of signals, iron below coins, iron on top of coins, weird signals etc.. after a while you get to know what to dig and what not too.

The humber drops new stuff every day. Both andy and I have had some brill finds.

Hi guys with me not having any land permission and only a year into my hobby and loving it seeing that alot of you guys now detect the humber its only a short train ride away from me in Grimsby:-) sw would be good to come up for a days detecting meet some of the forum members and hopefully pick up some tips and get couple nice finds

Cheers Brian:-) hopefully will meet up with u one trip we are not going on Wednesday as u say bout tide times its not good all this week or coming weekend the next best day with a low tide early is Monday 7th Jan
