Small coils?

Post by lordClaverton »

Thinking of a smaller coil to fit my quattro on trashy sites, Any suggestions as to best size 5 or 8 inch etc.

For realy good target seperation i would go for the 5"
The larger the coil the more outside the area targets start to be detected....
The 5" is perfect with a slow swing to winkle out coins laying right next to iron....

Just my opinion....good luck mate.....

Is it worth my buying a sniper coil to go on my 250? I'm pleased with the coil I have, but have found that in trashy areas the thing goes mad with signals.

The Garrett sniper coil seems pricey for potential benefits it might have. Any other 250 users got one? Comments on it?
