Good weather today, nice to not have any wind chill on the beach. The south beach has changed a lot over night, all the rocks visable yesterday had vanished. I found a small area with nothing but 10pence coins on Nev, over 20 in a few square metres. Had a go at the Primrose valley but just modern, The few older coins came from low tide line. The ring was a fluke find nothing else near it as i was walking between hotspots. seem to be digging a lot more ringpulls the last few visits. for a couple weeks i was only finding 1 or 2 a day ::g

Will have to meet up with you next time your over, Nev does the North beach a lot, where as i tend to do the south side, To be honest i think the quality is better on the North.Even though ive had 6 bits of gold from the south in the last few weeks. Like Nev says bit of luck it may strip again and maybe get the chance of some more early finds ::g

No problems guys, thanks. That was the second time I had been to filey beach detecting and both times ive come off with something nice( for a change). myself rattzzz and a few other guys have been detecting a lot of inland but with the amount of rain we have had and the fields are sodden wet(STICKY BOOTS).so its off to the coast we come and I love it.
happy hunting...
