Seawater Setting?
Seawater Setting?
According to this website: http://www.seriousdetecting.com/seawate ... -ctx-3030/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; there's a Seawater Setting in the latest firmware upgrade. I've just done the upgrade and received the 'Upgrade Successful' message on my CTX, however, there isn't a Seawater setting listed in my Modes menu. I'd therefore be most grateful if someone would be kind enough to let me know what I've missed...
if you go into one of your modes and press edit look to the bottom of the list past the ferrous coin, ground coin etc option ie below it and you will find the seawater option box to tick.
Hope ive explained it in a way to understand..

It should be there if you did it correctly.
Select MODE that you are using - EDIT - you'll find it there....

Many thanks - that is most helpful!
It is, indeed, there - I just didn't know where to look - given that the article in the link just said it was under 'Modes'. You can tell I haven't had this machine for very long, can't you? rl;

Had to take my CTX3030 out after about 3 weeks just to make sure that I'm right... I miss it so much.....Roll on Spring....
