Decent morning on the beach

Post by trappa »

Had a decent morning today. Had to leave before low tide but for 2 hours detecting i got a decent haul. £2.49, 14 fishing weights and 2 macky spinners.
Found a few weights that were really rotten even though i dont think that they were in the water very long, not sure what the lead substitute is but its poor and hope it doesnt catch on.

Im sick of finding weights! I would love to find a nice gold ring or a sovereign or something! 8-}
Im even chucking the poor weights back! I found another 10 or so that were eroded, and i know would have gone into a scrap tub or something but im getting frustrated at finding the same things week in, week out.
I know that plenty are not getting out due to weather/illness etc so it sounds arrogant but if i looked at my history on here every beach photo would look the bloody same- weights and a few coins. >:P
