Tough Hunting on the Beach

Post by Anubis »

Finally got out for a few hours to the beach today, really hard hunting with an icy wind, there were some huge waves one of which almost took me out (vid to Follow later).

The beach is almost 2ft more sand than usual so I was lucky to get £1.25 in coinage, a weird Old? button and some sea safety glass :))

Im loving it to bits, its a real lazy & relaxed approach, no settings to worry about just a lot of digging.

Im amazed at the depth it finds things especially small screws, I chased one around for several minutes with the pro pointer before finally spotting it.

Had the same at Filey last week where a wave came from nowhere and went over the top of my Welly boots. Even where the sand is piled on a couple feet deep, theres probably areas where its been removed, I keep finding odd patchs inbetween sandbanks. If its in range you will get it with a PI ::g
A pro pointer will only slow you down on the beach
