South Wales beach

Post by danjo »

Hi all.
Having to do an overnighter for work in south Wales. Can anyone recommend a beach for detecting within reasonably easy reach of the M4.
Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion, just looked at some pictures of Gower on google earth and it looks stunning.
If I don't go detecting I reckon I will go there with me camera.

You could also try Trecco bay Porthcawl near Bridgend tens of thousands use the beach there every year so should be rich with goodies also rich with trash too and not far off the M4.

Trecco Bay, Coney Beach or Rest Bay in Porthcawl.
Trecco is a caravan park beach, Coney is a funfair one and Rest bay is a windswept surfer's beach.
All atlantic tides and sandy and within a mile or two of the M4. ::g
