Had a feeeling you could be on a wasted trip. I did not even wait for low tide at Filey yesterday. Beachs take a lot of time and skill to get to a stage where you can travel away from your local beach and hit the right areas. This weeks weather may help you out on Cleethorpes. I looked at a couple Yorkshire beachs today, and did not even think of getting the detector out the car

Yer it can be abit disheartening when u travel away and don't get any finds or many targets to even dig..But we really enjoyed the day was brilliant spending day at Scarborough with the lads were thinking bout hitting skegness next time but not while end month or maby into march its only hours travel so not bad at all...hopefully we get some strong winds that will rip up clee beaches
