Hi all,
Here is my effort for the day, it was nice to see the lads and put a face to bainsey. I also had a fair amount of lead weights.

Hi Pearcher68
Considering the size of the beach I would say all the guys covered an area just the size of two footie pitches most of the seriously small rubbish has gone taken away by the guys since Sept there are areas with large iron but you would need a jcb to clear that in reality a comparatively small area was done today

Well done guys, it looks like you all had a good day I am only sorry I could not join you.
I have never known that beach to be open for so long, I searched there for many years in the 90's. I have a feeling that there is still lots of nice goodies to be had as long as the sand keeps off.

Like the Victorian half crown, In reality theres been very little pre 20 Silver found on Filey in the last few months.
Andy You will always get less finds when you dig the areas you were working, But thats where the early stuff will be, A few of us spent a few hours higher up the beach but finds were mainly modern.
