Morning dig in the fog

Picked up Mark, and headed for the beach today, The snow from yesterday had almost melted . Whet to opposite parts of the beach only for a Sea fog to drop on the beach, last we saw of each other for 3 hours. Finds were very patchy, I had a couple pre 47 and the ring, will get it checked but not convinced its gold, its had a repair in the past at some time. Mark seemed to drop on a good area with plenty of coins and signals will let him post the pics later, After the fog lifted it was a fantastic day for digging

a small toy gun, and a nice tie pin in brass that has cleaned up well,,,
most dug very close to iron and gave bad iffy signals, so had to go very slow at times and listen very carefully , hard work but paid off

Mark that toy gun is a water pistol, they had a rubber bulb for a handle which you squeezed to squirt the water out.
