Salt Water River Finds

Spent Sunday afternoon down on the muds among the rubbish found lots of lead fishing weight's two 1930 silver sixpence, 40 odd other coins and the rubbish that is in the pic the best find was the part of a Elizabeth I hammy sixpence.All found with the Deus in thick mud settings Basic 1,disc at 40 two tones,sens at 70,react at 4 works well for me at these settings.

::g Good going,those iron infested sites are a nightmare for me with the GT...I usually have to just walk away knowing that the goodies are down there but I can't 'see' them b;> :-L

Hi yes i know the Deus has taken my river work to a higher plain i am finding a lot more finding the same on the beach as well i can work areas were there is a lot of iron and pick the coins out but still will use the Sov on the wet beach.Wish i could use the Deus with the coil under the water but you can't have tried the home made Ariel set up but i could not get it to work.
