Deus? Upgrade on way?

Hi all possibly in the market for a new detector and really like the deus as my old man uses one.

How long is the current deus likely to be out for before xp bring out a new model? Not sure how frequently manufactures relase new machines. My luck would be in the next month or so.

I don't think its that fast. Given how long they struggle to bring firmware 3.0 to the public after first announcements, the announced medium sized coil and the still growing acceptance of the DEUS in the market we surely have to wait a good time for a new model
Especially as it is hard to go on with innovation. (Surely the next innovation steps could involve to make the DEUS2 interactive with PC for more than updates, improve balancing, make the entire thing water proof ... - but the most of this could also be done with the DEUS as it is now.)

And you may have learned another thing: You can always wait for the next model ... (and then can't or don't want to pay the price asked).
