hi all i think i've got a problem with the deus, it suddenly starts giving a constant chatter which sounds a bit like a constant interference, the only way to stop it is to switch off and on again but it starts again after about five minutes or when leant on against the ground when digging a hole.
the site is clean, no cables or other interference around so no idea why and it hasn't done it before only today and yesterday.
it sounds like when you don't turn it on properly at waist height the noise you get then.
dropping the sensitivity will help to an extent also going down to 4khz but not 8 12 or 18.
anybody got any ideas?
cheers john

John, just make sure your Ground Balance is set at 90 (on land )
low settings will give you the chatter that you describe
you have 9 great programmes, so don't mess with the
settings, you will only become more confused.
Hope this helps, Good Luck.
