Can you detect on the Thames shore with your big coil? Maybe somwhere outside of London
The only two machines ever worked for me was GT with 5 inch Detech coil and modified version of Laser Scout with 4inch coil. Some guys are using old Laser B1

Hi Guys
Im kinda new here (my first post) but reading a lot on this MDF site. My Deus is coming tomorrow:)
Maybe a silly question but how can you make Deus a shallow machine?
Its all about Thames foreshore cause you can dig only 7.5cm. Dont need a deep machine in there. On Ctx for example i was just lowering Sens and didnt have deep signals. Is it the same with Deus? I can imagine it all depends on the ground there. My last time there i noticed that toward the center of the river(stream) is less rubish and it is not so bad.
I hope i made that clear:)
Regard to you all
Artur

Hi
Just came back from the Thames. Second day with the Deus.
Thats m settings:
Basic 1
3 tones
GB 87
Sens 50-55
Reactivity 3
Iron Vol 1
Disc 35-40
Audio res 2
There were Lots of iron junk. Iron Vol 1 gave very nice quiet buzz, wasnt disturbing for the ears.
Im not experienced with Deus yet so was trying to figure it out how to avoid big pieces of iron or even colored junk. Lifting the coil helped. Big chunks were still giving the signal above the ground 15-20cm . And close to the ground sound was more spread. Giving iron buzz on the edges. The end of day found only one copper coin. Half penny 1963. 4cm sound was sharp and short. I knew thats something different compering to colored junk i found before.
So far i like my time with Deus. First impression is very very good.
Sorry for any mistakes.
