I do not wish to md on the WW2 Tank loop/range or lmg dugouts/range as these are in the bird reserve marsh. I only want to md the beach. I'm guessing the tank wrecks on the beach would be a no no, but West/East of these ?
I have still had no reply with regards to my question about is the beach part of the reserve which is inland.
I only get a blanket NO MD allowed on the reserve. (me shouting at screen) I know that, just answer my question arrrgh.
The Crown Estate shows purple for this area but as its also purple for Wells next the sea and we cant md there I thought I'd shout for help in this matter.
So if any one knows or can help I would be very grateful.
Many Thanks
Ok to md on Titchwell beach?

Rangers are ususlly helpful people, track one down and ask if the beach is okay, prob get a yes answer .... mind you the signals from those buried tanks will blow yr ears off, and if you attempt to dig the things up ... you'll get yr head blown off!!!

Be careful on titchwell.....live ordnance is still washing up and being found after all these years. Further up the beach towards Brancaster is another AA range, but that too is a Nature reserve. There is also an air gunnery range along that stretch of coast so you may find a few cartridge cases.
