Hi James, its only a firmware update that makes the difference, just a quick download over the net ::g I have no idea of the difference personally as I have always used V2 but your going to see another firmware update shortly which is V3 ::g just to add to your confusion :))

Here is a video I made of the process of firmware updating ::g

quote me if I'm wrong here but doesn't the control box on the V1 attach itself to the shaft with a magnet, whereas the V2 has a proper clip for the control box I'm sure that people were complaining that the control box was coming off more easily with the magnet on the V1
Hi yes there are a few changes regarding the construction, on the V2 we have an improved larger handle, the cuff is now a little bigger and is not so brittle and should not snap etc, the attachment for the remote control is now clipped on as opposed to the V1 which was a magnet fitting.
As for the main unit and headphones its only a firmware upgrade though. ::g
Thanks

Hello, lets just say when something like a firmware upgrade gets released a fair amount of beta testing has to be done to get the release as bug Free as possible, if they were to release something buggy I guess they will get far more moans / grief than putting it on hold until it is ready etc.
Its frustrating for some but at least you will see a firmware that actually works fine on release,,,,hopefully ::g

Cheers

hope this helps ::g

The V2 had A magnet Glen, the Deus was then released with the Clip several months later.
The latest on the V3 is (here we go again) End of May, with the 11" coil due in June....
