Re: using the Deus on highly mineralised ground successfully

Post by Cooper natural »

my machine was unusable the other day and i couldnt work out why, Luckily my mate was with me and his deus was fine we compared settings and it turned out i had a slight frequency shift in place I was on the 17.7khz and he was one 17.3khz i shifted back down to the same and it went silent and was just perfect. Worth trying to shift the frequency a little incase there is an electric fence or interference from something.

let us know how you get on, otherthan that it maybe just perservereance or up the the discrim.

Looks a very interesting site you have ::g ::g have a look on the old maps and find where the field boundries were . Try and find the areas where any medieval houses stood , such as areas that would be out of the wind ::g ::g if the ground is highly water logged it will affect the Deus.
Good luck with your hunting

I would definitely concentrate around that footpath that leads up to it Glen . . .that might of been the only way of getting to it years ago. . . .also once your there . .try and visualize where they would of chucked their rubbish and where they would of got drinking water from . . .Good luck ::g
