Am I being thick? I thought you could download the updates to get the v3 on your current Deus rather than sell and buy a newer machine.

You don't need a new detector just down load it .it should be out by the end of the week or so

Just read on the XP forum that V3 is almost upon us,when I was in Regtons a few weeks ago Nigel showed me a test version that he had got installed on a set of backphones and was really impressed with the advancements.

Also it mentions on the XP website that the warranty is being extended to 5 years parts and labour,I`m wondering if it will be available for detectors already out in the field??

I will be certainly be down loading the upgrade

Looks interesting, It shows the 11" coil and a antennae looking thing on the accessories page.

So much for 'it may be just a gold setting update'. After reading it this morning I'm getting a bit excited.
Its a massive udate IMO, the option of same vdi numbers through all frequency's is impressive to say the least. Reactivity, silencer, GB etc. All look interesting.......

just noticed the wave guide (optional antenna for use with the coil submerged) in the accessories section
all the gear, no idea!

and it say "Available middle/end 2013", does that mean we should see it around 2018? x;
