few hours after work

Post by Tomo »

Grabbed a few hours after work but seeing as it was high tide I decided to try the dry after the nice weekend we'd had but soon moved onto the wet as it started to go back. Not a great deal of signals about and the only ones found were hard to Winkle out with the six inch coil in amongst loads of iron.
Only managed a partial bit of bling that had a a thick skin of gold on it rather than electroplated and turned out to be a ring bezel. A little Blackpool badge (strange, I've had a few on our east coast beach's). Few bits clad, old penny, half penny, sixpence etc

I like posts like these which aren't full of a zillion coins and bling. Makes me feel better that I don't always find that much :)

Poor day by your usuall high standards but at least you managed to get out ::g
Four and a half hour round trip for me ;;z
I think its what they call gold filled rather than gold plated which is more of a thick skin.
Yea was only a couple hours to get my fix and hard going as it was high tide but good practice. 5 minute drive for me so not too bad lol
