HI Guys,
Not had any success with pumping ground balance on wet sand. I have tried different beaches and settings but not able to balance with pumping. So I leave it on 27 and it seems to be fine. I did not have this problem on v2. Anybody had a similar experience
Yes I had no joy at all using pumping on wet sand, just use manual on defualt setting and all should work fine, if not just increase it a little
Cheers

Spoken to Nigel the other week about pumping on wet beach, he said not to do it, leave on 27 and adjust slightly either way. I managed to pump mine and it came in at 2, it was'nt bad, but found later it was better around 26.

This was my exact question, I took her for the maiden voyage to the beach early hours this morning, first go with it, so I set her for wet beach (I was going for the waterline) then went to ground balance and it just wouldn't balance, it just failed every time, I left it on 27 and it was chattering like a goodun, so i turned beach mode off but kept it on wet beach and it quickly sorted itself out right at the end of my time. Then it did seem to quieten down and was workable. I did mess with the sensitivity turning it down to 75 but after those changes I started finding coins one after the other, a 1939 six pence, a modern 10p and a 1/2 penny! So im glad i came away with three coins and a load of junk, much better than a white wash on the first outing!
