garrett at pro is fully submersible to 10 ft just in case you are accident prone and fall in ::g ::g
not bad price either for what your getting copared to other water proof machines by other makers
has great iron discrim as extra feature

Just a thought, I had my control box on a waterproof pouch slung round me neck, coax then fastened to that... ;)
