I think i have been spoilt down my neck of the woods, with how clear it is.Detected leysdown and minster on sea on the isle of sheppey, unbeleivable every inch is covered in shrapnell/flack,thats the wet and the dry,two days spent for 1x£2.00 coin 2x2p 19 lead weights and a rucksack full of shrapnell.Thouhgt i might of picked up something from the montgomery wreck ie bombs ammo etc but nothing heyho backs getting stronger everyday soon be digging margate into oblivion.

there were lots of targets out at sea during both world wars all along the sheppey coast line. there have been some nice finds from sheppey beaches over the years including full and quarter staters. it takes a lot of effort to pull nice finds from leysdown, it's been detected to death over the years. the fossil hunting under the cliffs is world class though, a great day out if you like that sort of thing ::g
still drying out from the 2008 WW wantage rally.
