Harness for XP Deus with large coil..

Post by stubble hunter »

Been using the 11 x 13" coil for many months now.
Pleased with it ? You bet !
However I am now considering a harness as after several hours with it I have a definite arm ache.
Now the no 1 reason for getting the Deus in the first place was its lightness and while the small stock coil is great amongst the rows of maize stubble and in high mineral areas - its the large coil that wins in most field conditions. Most of my fields are clean so its used a lot.
So is anyone using a harness for the large coil and what type/make.
Recommendations please :)
Thanks !

Today I mounted the small coil on the field, since I have the same issue - swinging the large coil starts to be tiring after 2 or 3 hours.
Well the 11 inch coil is preordered, let's hope that this will be a good compromise.
But look to hear from your harness experience anyway.
Best greetings from Germany

I use a harness all the time these days, the only time i dont use one is when is with the T2 and the 5inch coil as that is feather weight, but for all my other detector coil combinations its the 'Detector Buddy' all the way.

It will handle all my coils even upto 18inch ones in my DFX and Pulse and they are very heavy combinations to swing for any length of time, but for many months i have been able to swing all day without any major problems.

Simplicity is the name of the game with this harness,it takes just seconds to put on and then you are detecting ::g
Equinox 6'',11'' and 15'' coils.
Deus 2 9'' coil.
Minelab GPX 14'' and 18'' Coiltek coils.
Fisher TW-5 twin box.
Nexus MP 13'' coil.
Nexus SE dual 9'' coil.
Whites TDI Pro 20'' coil.
