Deus with 11" coil as standard

I'm in a bit of a dilemma really, i want to buy a Deus to replace my Goldmaxx Power, but i would rather wait and get one when they come with the 11" coil as standard.
I contacted Hidden History and Regtons and neither have any idea when that will be, i don't suppose anyone has heard any rumours ?

I've been told the 11 inch coil is coming through in small numbers and waiting lists are pretty long. I would inagine if that is the case it may be a significant length of time before its issued as a 'standard fit'.

I was told in an email from XP, that they were looking at probably november to replace the 9" with the 11" as standard. Don't hold your breath though.

Update on this. Spoke to detecknics today about the 11" coil as standard as they were at the WW rally at the weekend. They had spoken to both XP and Regtons, XP say the 11" coil available on its own at the end of September but Regtons won't be offering it as a package until sometime next year. Looks like I'll have to get the 9" package and get the 11" at a later date.

The 9" coil is magic and I have used it for nearly 4 years.

OK I now have a 11" coil, but will still use the 9" at certain times.

I like the 11" coil and its much more pleasurable to use than the Larger one that they produced a long time back.

Having said what I have the 11" coil will have to go some to produce more finds than the 9" has,so don't worry to much. Jerry.

Was at Regtons yesterday and enquired about a Deus with a 11" coil as standard and they advised due to waiting list for the 11" coil it would be around March next year before I could have one

Well there you have the answer TinTin.

At least while not really missing out if you purchase a Deus now.

You will also have learned how to get the best from Monsieur Deus by the time that the Medium 11" coil is variable to you. Jerry.

PS the smaller 9" coil will always have its place in longer grass and some stubble areas.
