That i said about not wanting to change my A T Pro to a Deus.. Ok so i have now got a 7 month old Dues in what i would say is as new as you can get with remote earphones loads of bits thrown in for a steal couldnt resist unfortunately guy was giving detecting up.. Also gave me a set of Goretex over trousers and jacket, mini spade, folding trowel,2 x Finds Pouches 2 x pen emergency chargers, garrett pointer security clip , and some other stuff..Ok first thoughts are compared to my Garrett is its just not as chatty lighter gave it a quick blast and i like it lol.

Will be giving it a proper blast tomorrow so will report back..one thing there seems to be to many items to charge lol...

Good luck.. OR Happy Hunting.. think you will like the DEUS.. Just read about two guys that did field vacumcleaned with the DEUS.. then they took the AT PRO.. and guess they found loads of coins left behind.. look forward to your test, and feed back..

I feel sorry for the poor chap having to give up detecting, that's a worse fate than Prometheus had bestowed on him.

Most of the people i detect with use the Deus and get results. I haven't been at it for long but my Ace 250 sometimes shows them up lol. If and when i upgrade i think the Deus will be my choice.

I upgraded recently from the ACE250 to the Deus, and have not looked back since. The Ace was really good, and allowed me to learn the basics quickly and with ease, but the Deus is a totally different animal.
I know you get what you pay for, and the Deus is not cheap, but you will not look back.

I bought Deus Friday, its a good machine but it not as deep as my old GMP. I think it could be due to coil & machine on GMP set to just the 1 frequency as opossed to 4. Deus is a good machine though I just need to tinker with settings to get a bit more punch.

I am just going to use it on factory settings at the minute Deus fast and GMP until u get up to speed with it as am pretty sure the people who done the programmes would have been experts in the field.. I was wondering myself how deep it would go but i got 4 coins all small one out my garden last night that i thought my A T would have found to be fair and my garden is by no means big so am sure i would have covered it in the past Lol

Fields are NEVER cleared out doesn't matter what detector you use, surely by now people realise this , good luck with the Deus mate, i have a knackered back and without mine would have to give up detecting......

The Detector is only as good as the land below it

Sportsman give programme basic 1 a good go it finds those Hammereds for me I don't mess with any settings good luck
