advice on detech coil choice please

Post by jimbotrucker »

Hi I am using a quattro and have been told that the ultimate coil is a good upgrade, but I have noticed that I can get the 15*12 or the 12*10 a lot cheaper, is the ultimate the better buy :-/

I would have said that all 3 of those coils work well on the Quattro, the ultimate coil i would have said was slightly lighter but both the SEF coils are also very good in terms of performance giving you both extra depth and ground coverage.Built quality is good on all 3 of them,so does one coil that is lighter than the other 2 justify the extra expenditure,i guess only you can make the finally decision.

I use both the SEF coils and find them very good on say pasture and for rallies when more ground coverage is required within a certain time frame.
