thinking of upgrading to the Deus
thinking of upgrading to the Deus
Hi all,
I've been pondering on upgrading from the euroace and 5 numbers on the lottery seems to have pushed me towards the Deus. Problem I have at the moment is back pain from a rear end shunt earlier in the year. As I read it, the newer 11 x 13 coil is heavy and not very well balanced so I may well hold out for the new 11" coil. So I decided to give XP an email about its availability and I thought I'd share the reply with your good selves..
Hi Steve
The coil will arrive on middle of September, it will be an option the first time and probably around November we will able to provide it in the pack instead the 9inch one.
But please understand that many DEUS user wait for this coil, and we cannot provide the entire market in one month.
Thanks

hopes this sheds a little light on the subject of the new coil.
Cheers Sky

I actually use the Detecting Buddy with the Large coil which works great, I have had quite a nasty case of sciatica over the past year so the buddy has really helped big time
The 11inch coil does seem something to look forward to though as its meant to weight similar to the 9inch coil I read somewhere which would be perfect
B-)
Thanks for the heads of from XP
Cheers

Get the Deus it will be the best investment you can make

What we do in life echoes in eternity
Afew people seem to be saying the v3.1 is not all its cracked up to be and they can't tell the depth but to be fair does it make much difference as long as you can pin point it you dig the right clod up. Is this the only thing thats bad about this update as watching Mrix video on wet beach its seemed spot on there.

From what I have read more and more owners of the Deus who are giving the V3.1 a chance appear to be getting to like it
There is no doubt in my mind its a lot easier to control on wet sand B-)

Well no more thinking. Could'nt wait for the new coil so bit the bullet and just bought it. Arrived this afternoon and nows the start of a new learning curve, from the dulcet bing bongs of the euroace to the multi tone assault on my ear drums of the deus. Wish me luck.

Your machine doesn't require any luck.... it's your permissions
If it's there and the Déus is setup correctly, it will surely find it!
You simply only have to walk over
The V3 versions are a completely different machine to V2
Once you get over the short learning curve you'll appreciate how good it is, especially on a well inhabited site.
