OK no problem, I put this next to the main search program and if I am in doubt then I flick to the Iron ID program and check. 4KHZ just knows iron but its not perfect, its just the best weapon one has IMO.

So my programs go main search, iron ID, Main Search 2, iron ID, Main Search 3 etc. Main search may be a GMP or Deus Fast etc but where possible with the same tones so your ear gets used to them.

Just to add I use Chefphones and find these tones fit the headphones well, but if you are using backphones you might want to lower the upper tone to 700 or whatever sounds good.

All of them

depends on the field you are in normally i use Deus fast at 12Khz but the last two outings the field was nice and clean so i used GMP 12Khz sensitivity 90 discrimination 5 ground balance tracking and leave the rest alone

Excuse for being dim standard fast mode is 6.8 discrim so you lower it to 5 ??

most of the time yes , not sure it makes a huge amount of difference but i just like the number 5

Hi Sportsman, had a long cross penny last week using v3.2 Deus fast on 12khz disc 6.8, sens 90
at 47-49
