Even though i found nothing of significance i can honestly say that it was a Dream to use after being shown how to set it up for the ground we were detecting. Only found Lead, Foil, a copper coin, a musket ball, and 2 AAA batteries which were pretty deep at around 11" inches , but all very distinguishable signals which were Loud and Proud and potential goodies. As a Newbie to this Hobby i found the machine to be very light, very stable when set up properly, very well balanced with the battery pack tied to the machine itself, and very comfortable on the arm whilst swinging. Even though i'm right handed i did try with the left hand to avoid catching the switches and knobs on my bulky jacket as they are mostly on the side of the control box and it was ok as i'll get used to digging with shovel in my right hand.
Janners Blog on this machine came in very useful, and i'd reccommend anyone who owns a Velox One to read it and follow his settings tips as they worked for me with just minor tweaking of the sensitivity needed for the ground i was on.
