For every moaner there are a lot more people who are genuinely interested, most of the people on this forum are sensible and go about the hobby not causing bother. Unfortunately the muppets also see posts of good finds and just wreck the place and give us all a bad name.Hopefuly see you on one of the beaches some day ::g

Just glad it was not me in your situation,as long as you are totally above board and allowed too dig and all the holes are filled back in,she would have got both barrels from me diplomatically of course ::g she certainly would not have bothered me again.

Take 'Nevs' advice and just carry on detecting,a little old lady or not stand your ground ::g

Hey FileyLad

Don't stop posting. I love this forum! I pour over the posts everyday and love to read of finds and watch Youtube posts. If you guys quit where are us newbies gonna get our inspiration knowledge from?

I have received my permission from Crown Estates for foreshore detecting but haven't been able to get to the beach yet, (I live about 70 miles from the east coast.) but I am looking forward to getting there ASAP.

My permissions are way out in the country. I have only had one rant from a farmer who said I was blocking his farm track, but he soon realised that it wasn't my car causing the problem... Just turn a deaf ear and press on... and keep the posts coming..

Cheers
