Heart Shaped ?Opal?

I have been putting in hours recently so this feels well over due. It was exciting to dig. What do you think? I cannot decide if it is a genuine Opal? It is approx 25mm across its width. No hall marks. Any ideas? Age? Is it real :-/ Down on the wet sand. I did search for the chain but guess they went their separate ways.

Think it is Rock Crystal... But nice..

could be rock crystal or a paste opal looks possibly silver 20th century 1950 upwards ::g

I guess I was hopeful thinking it was Opal. Still its nice, and one to keep.
