New Romney Beach?

Hi guys,

Was going to take a trip to Camber in a couple of weeks but herd its not too good, I had a look on the Crown Estates maps and New Romney is covered, has anyone detectected here before? just looking for a nice day trip for the girlfriend and myself :)

If anyone could recommend a good beach a couple hours from Eastbourne area would be great :)
