Yup, a real howler of a storm brewing up out in the Atlantic, due to hit us in the south-west early hours of Monday morning. We are on 'Amber Alert' for Monday Morning.
Typical, my work sheet for all next week shows no time for detecting....I would quit my job if i wasn't afraid of me missus.

Its not as bad down here in Dorset either as the jolly old BBC are hyping it up to be. We were right in the worst place supposed to be. Normal Autumnal Equinox storm that always happens late October time. 1987 Hurricane was a proper storm, trouble is everybody has been led to believe that it was going to be the same as by the media. Everybody from the weather men down have to cover their arses these days. 99 mile an hour winds at the Needles is pretty normal in storms this time of the year as are 60-70 mph winds inland. You can understand why the trains cant run a timetable in weather like this but how can they say yesterday that all the schools will be shut today, why?
