bitter morning
Made it on the beach for 6 this morning and god it was frosty. The old fingers were having trouble keeping off the frostbite. Alot of sands been dumped back onto the beach so finds were sparse.

If I lived by the beach I would be exactly the same. That sight you captured is amazing. Thanks.

Hi Tomo, well done getting out so early in the cold. I remember reading in the shooting times many years ago an old wildfowlers trick for warming the hands while out on the salt marshes. The shooter would dip both hands in the water then hold them up into the wind ,this would cause the blood to course through your hands and warm them up.I have used this many times myself and although initially painful, really does work.Good luck,Peter.
