Perfect day at the beach.

Post by opa81 »

Went to the beach yesterday and found myself a small hot spot measuring 20 x 20 meter. I started doing my usual search pattern and found 13 coins.

Then I did the same pattern, but from another side. I found another 3 coins.

Then I did a spiral and found 1 more coin.

Shows that even by going really slow it is almost impossible to get everything the first time.

Last week we had a big storm here in The Netherlands together with a spring tide. This storm really battered the coastline, big parts of the dunes were gone.
Found an amazing amount of 101 Euro coins with a total of 45,30 = $ 62.36. As a bonus I also found a nice 25 gram Silver bracelet and an old Dutch 1700's Silver coin. Also found an American Dime (1977) and a UK 1 pound coin.

The GT together with the WOT did the job for me once again.

Still working on the video, will take a couple of more days.

The wind direction of the day of the storm was North West that is a good direction for us here.

Our beaches are on the west side of the country.

What your search tells me is that the law of diminishing returns is still alive and kicking ... 13 coins on the first run, 3 coins on the second, and 1 coin on the last... and the plan looks like you ended up walking in ever decreasing circles! and we all know where that ends... ;;z ;;z ;;z ;;z
Woukl an alternative strategy be to move to a fresh part of the beach, for each run, and in so doing triple your returns?? Just a thought ... and I love those diagrams by the way!!
