I'm outside Old Trafford and there's a guy burning small effigies of Rooney and selling them to fans. Oh, hang on. It's a baked potato stand.

He doesn't anymore, 25 years ago I was living in Whitstable and worked as a Postie, used to deliver to him, very friendly old man, always pleasant and polite, even when you knocked on his door early. Was always seen around town on his bike. The local Wetherspoons (the old cinema) is named after him,as are a couple of roads/areas. Sadly missed.
