Two hours this morning

Post by yellow »

Evening all... :D

Up at 5.45 and dropped the mrs off at work for half six.
Luckily I'm only five minutes from a local beach so decided late last night to give it a whirl.

On the sand for around 6.50 and had a wander around a normal patch that still had lots of sand on it to find nothing lol...walked five minutes along not detecting to another patch which I knew was lower than everywhere else,to find a couple of bits nothing special but it was lovely to be out, nice and peaceful.
Got a fishing spinner,1918 half pence,a pound coin :D a watch face heavily crusted and has a stainless back so no particular age,a brass bracelet lock which came out nice then dulled off throughout the day,a copper weight :-/ full of crud,a bit of lead, and a 1948 half crown.

Left the beach at 8.30 as I needed to get home, changed and at work for 10 am.
All found with the explorer se pro,and the first bits a head torch lol.

I did mean to finish at four,go home and get back out for a bit,but never stopped at work either so gave it up as a bad idea, and have decided to eat and have a little beer before my week starts again in the morning.
Hope you all had an enjoyable day if you we're out.
