Good to see you've got out ::g
You can't beat a bit of sea air to blow out the cobwebs.

its horrid being away from our hobby, as a delivery driver the run up to xmas is garbage,,, I go to work in the dark & get home as it is getting dark :-L the really bad part is while out delivering I see detectorists but its never anywhere you can stop with a 32 ton artic to have a natter. i too managed to get to the beach on boxing day and on my second hole snapped my spade rl; but I did enjoy the fresh air and the dogs always enjoy getting soaked. do you use a spade or scoop tomo :-/

I too am suffering from man flu, have been out once over Xmas but came home early like a wuss. Glad you're out at last enjoying the fresh air and getting a few finds.
