yer this is just a few miles from my home, i will be there this weekend, weather permitting.
had a look the other day, and saw some dumb fool archi drive his landrover right through a large portion of it.

he was surveying it
thats got to worth a trip, we was off to rhos on sea this weekend to see friends but had to cancell.
im gutted now, cause i would have left them to it

some parts of wales have been stripped but a lot still got plenty of sand
was only just over a week ago two cannons found at one beach aswell

was on the news about the historic one said a lot has been covered and more will be each day even had deer antlers on the beach and tracks off the tanks in the clay
and what looked like fish traps dug if its the same place

Had a similar prob last week Trojan, by the time I arrived at the beach, someone had
been there already, unfilled holes everywhere , felt obliged to fill them in as I passed them,
in case people thought they where mine .

Thanks for posting the BBC reportage.. Completely different from my beaches, as we dont have this hig and low tides.. Only the wind and sand...

only problem with the beach this week, is the tides, the low tides are a bit too high, so not much will be uncovered.
for saturday
low tide 07:18 at 2 meters
low tide 20:23 at 1.90 meters

ill pop down about 6pm, and detect it out for a few i think, im gold panning down that way in the day time anyway. so worth a look, even with the height of the low tide
