Was down in burn ham on sea last summer lovely part of the country that is.

Nice haul! Is that a key melted into lead in a spoon bowl for use as fishing weight? :-/
Looking for stuff.....mainly in fields.......

They use them weights as they are the Key to a decent catch ;)) Just Had To ;)

if only i had detected burnham and found the pennys i would have found the ring i did find a ring were i was but not silver ::g

location mate were theres coins and weights theres rings that new detectorist found a gold one in same location ::g

let them ferret its the only way to learn lol ::g you can find georgian coins out there personnally ive had nothing older than victorian off it ::g

Do you ever go up to berrow or brean,
I know the areas fairly well but hardly ever detected beaches. I just wondered if any roman had ever turned up due to the I believe hillforts in that area.

ive heard there has been early finds made around there mate including bronze age gold few years ago ::g
