Good Beaches in Kent?
Hi all, any recommendations for good beaches to search in kent? i hit little-stone on sea today, lots of tent pegs about, wondering if anyone has found any other beaches more productive?

Hello mate.
Camber sands near lydd . Early worm catches the worm there though as it does get busy with other detectors being swung around. I knew somebody who went there for the evening after a bank holiday and had the e-trac set to just except £1,£2 and 50p and came away with just over £100 in 3 hours
Good luck with you beaches

Thanks for camber suggestion Sean. I was thinking that this would be a productive location, sounds like it is! do you know if its particularly iron contaminated? I found that littlestone had a hell of a lot of iron yesterday, then again I was using the CS4pi, so have to dig everything!

Don't wish to appear pedantic but Camber is in East Sussex.seanywells wrote: Camber sands near lydd . But your right though, its a great beach for modern coinage and I intend to get down there at every opportunity in the summer.
Its about 10 minutes away from me.

I am not going home until I have found at least 10 pence.

Pretty much a stones throw away from kent though!. Being you have to weave in and out of kent/East sussex to get there. All in all its not far from dymchurch where you've been detecting before.
Good luck

I didn't even think about Camber being in another county! but your right of course. It would make sense to check it out as its so close to the beaches I've been detecting on recently.
any other suggestions? anyone detected on the isle of grain, in the north of Kent before?
