Crosby Beach no Beep

Post by Bikerboyzx6r »

Went out today for just over an hour at Crosby Beach swinging around Antony Gormley's Another place. (http://www.sefton.gov.uk/default.aspx?page=6216)

Nothing.... Not even a little Beep! I know the beach keeps winning clean beach awards but that is mad!!! I had to keep throwing coins down to test the machine.... No problem.

Blimey, may have to wait until height of summer to see if I can get a few coins etc!

Oh well..... Image

Did your beach suffer with the spring high tides?
Ours did massively and probaly lost a couple of feet of sand in places....
Our council in all its wisdom have just bought 40 tonnes of sand dredged from the channel and spread it on the beach (bit like waving a sausage down an alley)
Anyways suffice to say first few inches of sand are now clean sand with no finds...

To be honest mate, the beach gets pretty much covered every tide! The spring tides obviously didnt help! Im thinking that unless its high up near the dunes, I may never get much there! :(
